• Different kind of Testing – Unit, white & black box,Integration, System, UAT
• Verification, Validation, QA, functional, non functional, regression, retesting, equivalence, boundary value, smoke,
• Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test cases, bug reports
• Covers the latest ISEB Foundation Syllabus – 2007.
• Do some sample questions from the previous ISEB papers.

By the end of weekend 1, you can able to write a Test case and create a bug and track its status.

Test Management Tool Weekend 2 (Quality Centre) :

• What is a Test management tool? Its benefits?
• Various Test Management tools by different vendors, and which are market leading?
• Parameters. Call to tests, linking requirements – cases - bugs.
• Covering Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab, and Bug tracking.
• Creating Plan, cases and bugs in the Quality Centre.

By the end of weekend 2, you can able to write a requirement, do a Test plan, Test case, can do Test execution and create a Bug report in the Quality Centre.

Test Automation Tool Weekend 3 (QTP) :

• What is a Test Automation tool? Its benefits?
• Various Test Automation tools by different vendors, and which are market leading?
• Record modes, run modes, checkpoints, data driven testing, database testing, parameters, object spy, step generator,
• VB scripts (basic), call functions, recovery scenario, synchronisation, regular expression.
• Load runner, Silk test

By the end of weekend 3, you can able to write a Test script in QTP with all the available possibilities, run it and analyse the results.

Final Day will also cover :

• Market trends, applying for jobs.
• CV preparation
• Interview tips ( Recruiter call, phone interview, face to face )
• How to do negotiations on salary. Etc.
