Confirmation of bookings

• A Booking Form must be completed, signed and returned to The WEB ACADEMY in order to reserve places and dates.
• Alternative methods of confirmation can be by email or official purchase order.
• Where payment is made in advance, a completed Booking Form may sometimes not be required.
• In all cases, The WEB ACADEMY will issue a invoice within two working days.

Payments

• Payment must be made at the time of booking if paid by credit card, otherwise upon receipt of invoice.
• If a booking is made more than 30 days prior to a course date, payment can be delayed until no later than 21 days prior to a course, if agreed at the time of booking: this will then be recorded on the invoice.
• Credit terms are subject to satisfactory references and trading volumes.
• The WEB ACADEMY reserves the right to charge interest on late payments.
• The granting of credit terms does not exempt clients from re-booking or cancellation charges.
• The WEB ACADEMY reserves the right to cancel online live tutor training courses or places on them if payment terms are not observed.
• Payments can be only made by Credit card / Debit Card / Pay pal.
• If any kind of discount is applied, payment must be made by credit card.

Cancellations, re-scheduling and transfers

• Cancellation, re-scheduling or transfer requests must be received by email to admin@thewebacademy.com.
• The date on which email is received by The WEB ACADEMY will be deemed as the date the request has been made.
• Agreement on dates for re-scheduling or transfer shall be subject to the availability of places, spaces and/or trainers.
• If a re-scheduled or transferred booking cannot subsequently be attended by the client, the booking shall be cancelled without refund.

Online live tutor training at The WEB ACADEMY

Cancellations

If notified 10 or fewer days prior to the online live tutor training date, a cancellation charge of 100% will apply.

Transfers

• If notified more than 7 days prior to the online live tutor training date, a delegate can transfer on to the next scheduled course without penalty.
• If notified 7 or fewer days prior to the online live tutor training date, a delegate can transfer on to the next scheduled course for a re-booking charge of 50% of the course fee.
• A transfer will be permitted only if the invoice for the online live tutor training has been paid in full.
• If a delegate cannot attend on the new date, no refund will apply.

Private (bespoke) online live tutor training at The WEB ACADEMY or in-company online live tutor training

Cancellations

• If notified 14 or fewer days prior to the online live tutor training date, a cancellation charge of 100% will apply.
• If notified more than 14 days prior to the online live tutor training date, a cancellation charge of 25% will apply.

Re-scheduling

• Agreement of new dates must be confirmed by the client in writing by email, and the date on which the email is received by The WEB ACADEMY will be deemed as the date on which the agreement has been made.
• The client can re-schedule the date without charge if notification is received, and new dates agreed, more than 14 days prior to the original online live tutor training date.
• The client can re-schedule the date for a re-booking charge of 50% of the course fee if notified, and new dates agreed, 14 or fewer days prior to the original online live tutor training date.
• Rescheduling will be permitted only if the invoice for the online live tutor training has been paid in full.
• If new dates have not been agreed by the original online live tutor training date, the course will be deemed to have been cancelled and a 100% cancellation fee shall apply.
• If a client cannot provide delegates for the re-scheduled date, a cancellation charge of 100% will apply.

Online live tutor training programmes

Where a number of online live tutor training courses have been arranged as part of a online live tutor training programme, the deadline for cancellation or re-scheduling of any course within the programme shall relate to the first course date, and not to the date of the individual course.

Liability

Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by The WEB ACADEMY's negligence, or as expressly provided in these Conditions, The WEB ACADEMY shall not be liable to the client by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the negligence of The WEB ACADEMY, its servants or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the online live tutor training course and the entire liability of The WEB ACADEMY under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the amount of The WEB Academy’s charges for the provision of the online live tutor training course except as expressly provided in these conditions.
The WEB ACADEMY shall not be liable to the client or be deemed in breach of contract by reason of any delay or failure to perform any of The WEB Academy’s obligations in relation to the online live tutor training course if this was due to any cause beyond The WEB ACADEMY's reasonable control.

Online live tutor training Days Scheme

• Blocks of Online live tutor training Days can be purchased at preferential prices for online live tutor training of its employees and/or agents on The WEB ACADEMY’s Public (scheduled) online live tutor training courses.
• Payment for blocks of online live tutor training Days shall be due at the time of purchase.
• Upon receipt of payment, The WEB ACADEMY will issue a block of online live tutor training Day (TD) codes that can be used to book delegates on any public course, subject to availability.
• Clients may purchase an unlimited number of Online live tutor training Days under the scheme, subject to all such Online live tutor training Days being undertaken within the period of 12 Calendar months from the date of purchase.
• Any failure by the client to utilise the entire online live tutor training Days within the 12 calendar month period shall result in such online live tutor training Days being forfeited by the client without entitlement to compensation or reimbursement.

Cancellations

If notified 10 or fewer days prior to the online live tutor training date, the Online live tutor training Day will be lost and the TD code cancelled.

Transfers

• If a delegate cannot attend a course, another delegate can be substituted at any time.
• If notified more than 7 days prior to the online live tutor training date, a delegate can transfer on to the next scheduled course using the same TD code.
• If a delegate cannot attend on the new date, the TD code will be cancelled.

Duration

These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, but any changes shall not be retrospectively applied.
